CAN’T TALK
1½ oz. / 45 ml. vodka
½ oz. / 15 ml. dry vermouth
½ oz. / 15 ml. crème de cassis
¾ oz. / 22.5 ml. fresh lemon juice
½ oz. / 15 ml. honey syrup
METHOD
add all ingredients to shaker tin / shake with ice until chilled / fine strain into coupe or Nick and Nora / express lemon peel oil over surface / garnish with lemon twist

Welcome back to the series where I show how you can swap one ingredient (here, a fruit liqueur) for another and create a “new” cocktail. Vodka provides a neutral base here, which allows for the other flavors to shine. Blackcurrant liqueur brings sweetness but a tart edge to help balance the drink. Cheers y’all!
