Industry Sour

INDUSTRY SOUR

  • 1 oz. / 30 ml. Fernet Branca

  • 1 oz. / 30 ml. Green Chartreuse

  • 1 oz. / 30 ml. fresh lime juice

  • 1 oz. / 30 ml. simple syrup

METHOD
add all ingredients to shaker tin / shake with ice until chilled / fine strain into coupe or Nick and Nora / garnish with dehydrated lime wheel (optional)

ABOUT
This cocktail was created in 2011 by Ted Kilgore of St. Louis. Kilgore made this cocktail for a fellow industry member with the mindset of, “what would happen if I put all my favorite things into one drink?” Both Fernet and Chartreuse are loved by many in the industry, so what could go wrong when you add them both to a cocktail? Thankfully, it led to this legendary drink. Cheers y’all!
