INFANTE

  • 2 oz. / 60 ml. tequila blanco

  • ¾ oz. / 22.5 ml. fresh lime juice

  • ¾ oz. / 22.5 ml. orgeat

  • 2 dashes rose or orange flower water

  • nutmeg to garnish

METHOD
add all ingredients to shaker tin / add ice and shake until chilled / strain into glass over fresh ice / garnish with freshly grated nutmeg

ABOUT
This margarita riff was created by Giuseppe González (@giuseppe_gonzalez) in 2009 (New York) and named after singer/actor Pedro Infante. Though the build is simple, there is a lot of depth here with flavors that are refreshing, nutty, and floral. Fun fact: González also created the Trinidad Sour, which he is not a big fan of.
