IT’S NOT A PHASE, MOM

  • 1½ oz. / 45 ml. Barbados rum

  • 1 oz. / 30 ml. Amaro di Angostura

  • ¾ oz. / 22.5 ml. banana liqueur

  • ¾ oz. / 22.5 ml. fresh lime juice

  • ¾ oz. / 22.5 ml. pineapple juice

  • 1 barspoon crème de cacao (blanc)

METHOD
add all ingredients to shaker tin / shake with small amount of ice until ice melts (“whip shake”) / pour into a glass / top with crushed or pebble ice / garnish with mint bouquet after slapping to express oils and banana slice (I left this out)

ABOUT
This cocktail was recently created by Matthias Soberon (@servedbysoberon) who was inspired by Death & Co’s Beach Goth, which uses bourbon and Campari instead of rum and amaro. The name is also just perfect. I didn’t have any emo props, so enjoy the handcuffs. Cheers y’all!
