King’s Jubilee

KING’S JUBILEE

  • 1½ oz. / 45 ml. light rum

  • ½ oz. / 15 ml. maraschino liqueur

  • ½ oz. / 15 ml. fresh lemon juice

  • maraschino cherry to garnish

METHOD
add all ingredients to shaker tin / shake with ice until chilled / fine strain into coupe or Nick and Nora / garnish with maraschino cherry

ABOUT
This classic cocktail was created by Harry Craddock in 1935 at The American Bar (Savoy Hotel; London). It was made in honor of King George V’s Silver Jubilee. It follows a typical sour template and is reminiscent of an Aviation. Cheers y’all!
