NOBLE BEAST

  • 1 oz. / 30 ml. Angostura bitters

  • 1 oz. / 30 ml. espresso

  • ½ oz. / 15 ml. demerara syrup

  • 1 whole egg

  • grated coffee bean (or cinnamon) to garnish

METHOD
add all ingredients to shaker tin / shake with ice until chilled / fine strain into coupe or Nick and Nora / garnish with grated coffee bean (I used cinnamon)

ABOUT
This beautiful concoction was created by Anders Erickson. Some days you just want a creamy cocktail and this is when you should have a flip. Flips are cocktails that contain a full egg, giving it a delicious decadence. A full ounce of bitters packs a lot of flavor and spice, making it perfect for dessert! The drink is meant to be garnished with a grated coffee bean, but I (accidentally) went with cinnamon…still delicious! Cheers y’all!
