Peruvian 75

PERUVIAN 75

  • 1½ oz. / 45 ml. pisco

  • ½ oz. / 15 ml. fresh lime juice

  • ½ oz. / 15 ml. passionfruit syrup

  • 1 dash Angostura bitters

  • 3 oz. / 90 ml. sparkling wine to top

METHOD
add all ingredients to shaker tin / add ice and shake until chilled / strain into a stemmed wine glass / top with sparkling wine / garnish with lime wedge

ABOUT
This cocktail was created by Jordan Hughes (@highproofpreacher) and is found in his book, “Twist.” It’s a twist on the classic French 75 that he takes down to the country of Peru. Rather than using gin or cognac, Pisco is used. He then adds some passionfruit and lime for a unique twist. Cheers y’all!
