Trader Vic’s Grog
TRADER VIC’S GROG
2 oz. / 60 ml. aged overproof rum
1 oz. / 30 ml. fresh lemon juice
1 oz. / 30 ml. pineapple juice
1 oz. / 30 ml. passionfruit syrup
2–3 dashes Angostura bitters
METHOD
add all ingredients to shaker tin / add a small amount of crushed ice and shake until chilled / dirty dump into glass / top with crushed or pebble ice / garnish with mint bouquet and maraschino cherry

This classic tiki cocktail was reimagined by Martin Cate of Smuggler’s Cove in San Francisco. Cate bartended at Trader Vic’s where this was a popular drink by staff and guests. This tiki drink has a relatively short ingredient list, but Cate says still achieves depth and richness. Cheers y’all!
