APERTIKI

  • 1 oz. / 30 ml. aged rum

  • 1 oz. / 30 ml. pineapple-infused Aperol

  • 1 oz. / 30 ml. Bonal

METHOD
add all ingredients to mixing glass / stir with ice until chilled / strain into rocks glass over a BFC / garnish with pineapple frond

PINEAPPLE-INFUSED APEROL
chop fresh pineapple / cover it with Aperol / let it soak for 72 hours / strain into bottle

ABOUT
This cocktail was made by Ryan (@reallyicetomeetyou). This stirred drink will take you to the tropics, but not in the traditional crushed ice tiki sense. Think of a Kingston Negroni. Bonal is a fortified aperitif wine with gentian and quinine. The pineapple comes through beautifully but you still get some bitter notes from the Aperol. Cheers y’all!
