Banana Negroni Sour

BANANA NEGRONI SOUR

  • 1 oz. / 30 ml. gin

  • 1 oz. / 30 ml. banana liqueur

  • ¾ oz. / 22.5 ml. Campari

  • ½ oz. / 15 ml. sweet vermouth

  • 1 oz. / 30 ml. fresh lemon juice

  • 1 fresh egg white or other foamer (e.g., aquafaba)

METHOD
add all ingredients to shaker tin / shake without ice (“dry shake”) / add ice / shake until chilled / strain into a coupe or Nick and Nora / no garnish

ABOUT
This Negroni riff is by my friend Isaiah LaBelle (@onesipclub). You still get that quinnesential bitterness of a Negroni thanks to the Campari, but you also get some banana sweetness that is balanced with the sour lemon. You’ll want a high quality banana liqueur here. Cheers y’all!
