BEYOND THE INFINITE

  • 1 oz. / 30 ml. Bonal

  • ½ oz. / 15 ml. bourbon

  • ½ oz. / 15 ml. Cointreau

  • ½ oz. / 15 ml. fresh lemon juice

  • ½ oz. / 15 ml. simple syrup

  • 1 fresh egg white

  • ½ oz. / 15 ml. soda water to top

  • Angostura bitters to spritz

METHOD
add all ingredients except soda to shaker tin / shake without ice (“dry shake”) / add ice / shake until chilled / strain into a glass with no ice / top with soda water / garnish with Angostura bitters

This cocktail comes from one of my favorite bars, Cure, in New Orleans. Turk Dietrich is to thank for this beauty. Bonal is a bitter and spicy gentiane fortified wine. Dietrich went the whiskey sour route here and I’m in love. Cheers y’all!
