DUPREE

  • 2 oz. / 60 ml. gin

  • ½ oz. / 15 ml. Aperol

  • ½ oz. / 15 ml. elderflower liqueur

  • absinthe rinse

METHOD
add all ingredients to mixing glass / stir with ice until chilled / strain into a coupe or Nick and Nora rinsed with absinthe / no garnish

ABOUT
I found this one on the amazing Leandro DiMonriva’s (@theeducatedbarfly) page. He mentioned that he stumbled across it some time ago but can’t pinpoint the creator. It’s a beautifully balanced, floral-leaning gin cocktail with just enough bitterness from the Aperol to keep it from being too sweet. The absinthe rinse adds a subtle layer of herbal complexity.
