HUMBLE PIE

  • 1 oz. / 30 ml. apple brandy

  • 1 oz. / 30 ml. blended scotch

  • ¼ oz. / 7.5 ml. ginger syrup

  • 1 tsp. / 5 ml. demerara syrup

  • 4 dashes allspice dram

  • 1 dash Angostura bitters

  • 2 grinds black pepper

METHOD
add all ingredients to mixing glass / stir with ice until chilled / strain into a glass over fresh ice / garnish with candied ginger

ABOUT
This is a cozy, seasonal cocktail that captures the essence of apple pie in a glass. It was created in 2021 Sean Hoard (Portland, OR) as a playful nod to those family debates over the best apple pie recipe. The various ingredients add layers of warmth and spice. Cheers y’all!
