ISLAND WINE

  • 2½ oz. / 75 ml. white vermouth

  • ¾ oz. / 22.5 ml. fresh lime juice

  • ½ oz. / 15 ml. passionfruit syrup

  • 3–4 dashes Angostura bitters

  • ½ passionfruit to swizzle

METHOD
scoop half passionfruit out and add to a glass / add remaining ingredients to glass / fill ⅔ with crushed or pebble ice / stir or swizzle to mix / top with more ice / garnish with mint bouquet and second half passionfruit

ABOUT
This low-ABV tropical cocktail by Matthias Soberon has been perfect to battle this summer heat. He uses white vermouth (different than dry) as the base, which is swizzled (mixed) with the other ingredients. You can easily have a few without feeling sloshed. This has become a staple this summer!
