JOY

• 1½ oz. / 45 ml. mezcal

• ½ oz. / 15 ml. Campari

• ½ oz. / 15 ml. orgeat

• ¾ oz. / 22.5 ml. fresh lime juice

• 2 dashes orange blossom water

• pinch of salt

METHOD
add all ingredients to shaker tin / shake with ice until chilled / fine strain into coupe or Nick and Nora / no garnish, just joy

This cocktail was created by a Vancouver bartender for a patron by the name of Joy Pecknold. Unfortunately, Joy recently passed away in a car accident in August. Her nephew, McKinley Bainard, recently shared this drink and her story, sparking folks to reshake this for Joy, a lover of life and mezcal Last Words. Cheers Joy!
