Love Gun

LOVE GUN

  • 2 oz. / 60 ml. light rum (bartender suggests Planteray 3 Stars)

  • ¾ oz. / 22.5 ml. fresh lemon juice

  • ½ oz. / 15 ml. raspberry syrup

  • ½ oz. / 15 ml. simple syrup

  • 1 tsp. / 5 ml. allspice dram

  • 1½ oz. / 45 ml. soda water, to top

METHOD
add all ingredients to shaker tin / add ice and shake until chilled / strain into a glass over a BFC / top with soda water / garnish with lemon wheel

Created by Scott Teague (@scottjamesteague) in 2015, this Death & Co. cocktail was made to be undeniably delicious. Teague shared it with David Kaplan and Phillip Kirschen-Clark, whose feedback inspired serving it over a BFC with soda, giving it an effervescent edge that made it a Death & Co. classic.
