Manzanilla Southside

MANZANILLA SOUTHSIDE

  • 2 oz. / 60 ml. Manzanilla sherry

  • ¾ oz. / 22.5 ml. fresh lime juice

  • ¾ oz. / 22.5 ml. simple syrup

  • 6–8 mint leaves

METHOD
add all ingredients to shaker tin / shake with ice until chilled / fine strain into coupe or Nick and Nora / garnish with mint after slapping it to express the oils

This riff on a classic was created by Matthias Soberon (@servedbysoberon). I love the addition of a dry sherry here, replacing the original gin. If you don’t have Manzanilla, another dry sherry like Fino would work. Cheers y’all!
