MIST OVER JALISCO

  • 1½ oz. / 45 ml. tequila reposado

  • ½ oz. / 15 ml. mezcal

  • ⅓ oz. / 10 ml. Campari

  • ⅓ oz. / 10 ml. Cointreau

  • ¾ oz. / 22.5 ml. fresh lime juice

  • ½–¾ oz. / 15–22.5 ml. passionfruit syrup

  • absinthe mist

METHOD
add all ingredients to shaker tin / add crushed ice and shake until chilled / dirty dump into glass / top with crushed or pebble ice / garnish with mint bouquet and half passionfruit (I didn’t have any)

ABOUT
Matthias Soberon created this, which is perfect for both Star Wars Day and Cinco De Mayo. This Margarita riff has some bitterness from the Campari and passionfruit tang. The smoke and absinthe comes through nicely as you sip. May the 4th be with you! Cheers y’all!
