NAKED & FAMOUS

  • ¾ oz. / 22.5 ml. mezcal

  • ¾ oz. / 22.5 ml. Aperol

  • ¾ oz. / 22.5 ml. Yellow Chartreuse

  • ¾ oz. / 22.5 ml. fresh lime juice

METHOD
add all ingredients to shaker tin / shake with ice until chilled / fine strain into coupe or Nick and Nora / garnish with lime twist

ABOUT
Joaquin Simó created this in 2011. Simó was working on a Last Word riff when he first tried a Paper Plane by Sam Ross at Milk & Honey. This led him to explore more complex liqueurs like Aperol to replace maraschino. Aperol and Chartreuse are a perfect marriage; he found that Del Maguey Chichicapa mezcal worked beautifully here.
