Pineapple Smokewreck

PINEAPPLE SMOKEWRECK

  • 1½ oz. / 45 ml. mezcal

  • ½ oz. / 15 ml. overproof rum

  • 1½ oz. / 45 ml. pineapple juice

  • ½ oz. / 15 ml. fresh lemon juice

  • ¾ oz. / 22.5 ml. ginger syrup

  • 1 dash Angostura bitters

  • 1 dash Peychaud's bitters

METHOD
add all ingredients to shaker tin / add ice and shake until chilled / strain into glass over fresh ice / garnish with pineapple frond and maraschino cherry

ABOUT
This cocktail is a twist on Ryan Margarian’s Pineapple Trainwreck. In this variation by Ebby Kurian, he swaps aged rum out for mezcal. This one, like the original, is a winner. A high quality spicy ginger syrup works wonders here. Cheers y’all!
