Stingless Bee

STINGLESS BEE

  • 2 oz. / 60 ml. tequila

  • ¾ oz. / 22.5 ml. honey syrup

  • ½ oz. / 15 ml. fresh lemon juice

  • ½ oz. / 15 ml. fresh lime juice

  • 1 egg white

  • Peychaud’s bitters to garnish

METHOD
add all ingredients to shaker tin / shake without ice (“dry shake”) / add ice / shake until chilled / strain into a coupe or Nick and Nora / garnish with Peychaud’s bitters

ABOUT
This cocktail was created by Brett Adams and Jacob Grier and I found it in their book “Raising The Bar.” This drink is their take on a Bee’s Knees made with tequila. The addition of a foaming agent (egg white here, but use any kind), makes it so smooth. It’ll go down without a sting! Cheers y’all!
