THEIR OUR KNOW RULES

  • 1¼ oz. / 37.5 ml. Vecchio Amaro del Capo

  • ½ oz. / 15 ml. Fernet Branca

  • ¼ oz. / 7.5 ml. dry vermouth

  • 5 dashes peach bitters

  • 6 drops saline solution

  • lemon peel oil

METHOD
add all ingredients to mixing glass / stir with ice until chilled / strain into a glass (coupe, Nick and Nora, or martini) / express lemon peel oil over the surface / garnish with lemon twist

*This one is actually designed to be a freezer/fridge batched cocktail. If going this route, add ¾ oz. water instead of stirring with ice. Store in freezer/fridge until serving

ABOUT
This one is by Rick Munro, who will soon be opening his own bar, Malpractice, in Portland, OR. The name will give you a headache, but you’ll fall in love with the complexity of this drink. It one is an amaro martini of sorts, with peach bitters bringing the needed brightness. Cheers y’all!
