Tipsy Jitters

TIPSY JITTERS

  • 1 oz. / 30 ml. vodka (or spirit of choice)

  • 1 oz. / 30 ml. cold brew concentrate

  • ½ oz. / 15 ml. coffee liqueur

  • ¼ oz. / 7.5 ml. Averna

  • ¼ oz. / 7.5 ml. Licor 43

  • Angostura Cream Float:
    1½ oz. / 45 ml. heavy cream
    1 barspoon demerara syrup
    3 dashes Angostura bitters

METHOD
add first five ingredients to mixing glass / add ice and stir until chilled / strain into a rocks glass over fresh ice / combine cream, syrup, and bitters in shaker tin / shake without ice until slightly thickened (or use milk frother) / slowly pour over top of drink / garnish with coffee beans (optional)

ABOUT
This one is by Alex Howard who made it for Martha My Dear (Nashville, TN). It is a cross between a White Russian and an Espresso Martini. Averna adds complexity here. Try this with any spirit! Cheers y’all!
