WAKE ME UP

  • 1 oz. / 30 ml. Jamaican rum

  • 1 oz. / 30 ml. rye whiskey

  • ½ oz. / 15 ml. coffee liqueur

  • 1 oz. / 30 ml. fresh espresso

  • ½ oz. / 15 ml. chai syrup

  • pinch of salt

METHOD
add all ingredients to shaker tin / shake with ice until chilled / fine strain into coupe or Nick and Nora / garnish with three coffee beans

ABOUT
Here is another espresso martini variation I came up with. I use a split base of a funky Jamaican rum and a rye whiskey. The warm spices from these complement the chai syrup (I used Liber & Co). This cocktail has extra layers of depth and complexity than a traditional espresso martini. Cheers y’all!
