Mr. Negroni

MR. NEGRONI

  • 1¼ oz. / 37.5 ml. gin

  • 1 oz. / 30 ml. coffee-infused Campari

  • 1 oz. / 30 ml. sweet vermouth

  • 1 barspoon coffee liqueur

  • 2 dashes cocoa bitters

  • orange peel oil

METHOD
add all ingredients to mixing glass / stir with ice until chilled / strain into a glass over a BFC / express orange peel oil over surface / garnish with three coffee beans

COFFEE-INFUSED CAMPARI
add one tablespoon of coffee beans to 8 oz. Campari / let sit for 24 hours at room temperature / strain and bottle

If you enjoy coffee, you’ll enjoy my take on the classic. Consider this a before- or after- Negroni, depending on if you prefer your coffee at the beginning or end of your night. The barspoon of coffee liqueur adds a bit of sweetness to soften the typically bitter drink. Cheers y’all!
