¾ oz. / 22.5 ml. gin
¾ oz. / 22.5 ml. Suze gentian liqueur
¾ oz. / 22.5 ml. Yellow Chartreuse
¾ oz. / 22.5 ml. fresh lemon juice
lemon peel oil
METHOD
add all ingredients to shaker tin / add ice and shake until chilled / strain into coupe or Nick and Nora / express lemon peel oil over the surface / garnish with lemon twist
ABOUT
This cocktail was created in 2020 by Frank Audoux at the Cravan Café Bar (Paris, France). This modern sour draws inspiration from a 1920s cocktail that used similar ingredients sans lemon juice. It reads like a Last Word, but has some nice bitter notes from the gentian liqueur. Cheers y’all!
