Alpine Negroni
ALPINE NEGRONI
1 oz. / 30 ml. gin
¾ oz. / 22.5 ml. Suze gentian liqueur
¾ oz. / 22.5 ml. Cocchi Americano
½ oz. / 15 ml. Génépy des Alpes
1 barspoon crème de menthe
3 dashes lemon bitters
1 dash saline solution
METHOD
add all ingredients to mixing glass / stir with ice until chilled / strain into a glass over a BFC / garnish with rosemary (or use rosemary ice 🧊)

This lighter and herbaceous Negroni riff was created in 2013 by Naren Young. The combo of Génépy and Suze evokes flavors reminiscent of mountain botanicals. This was also my first time making clear ice with something suspended in it. Cheers y’all!
