Carajillo con Tequila

CARAJILLO CON TEQUILA

  • 1 oz. / 30 ml. tequila reposado

  • 1 oz. / 30 ml. Licor 43

  • 1½ oz. / 45 ml. espresso

  • orange peel oil

METHOD
add all ingredients to shaker tin / add ice and shake until chilled / strain into glass over fresh ice / express orange peel oil over surface / garnish with coffee beans

ABOUT
Move over espresso martini, the Carajillo will be your new favorite coffee cocktail. The Carajillo is one of the most popular drinks in Mexico and Brazil. Sometimes you see it layered, recently you see it shaken (who can say no to that foam?!) This version by Anders Erickson adds tequila, which is not traditional, but oh so delicious. Cheers y’all!
