DAIQUIRI NO. 34

  • 1 oz. / 30 ml. white overproof Jamaican rum

  • 1 oz. / 30 ml. pineapple rum

  • ¼ oz. / 7.5 ml. dry curaçao

  • ¾ oz. / 22.5 ml. fresh lime juice

  • ½ oz. / 15 ml. pineapple gum syrup

  • 2 dashes tiki bitters

  • 1 dash absinthe

  • orange peel oil

METHOD
add all ingredients to shaker tin / shake with ice until chilled / fine strain into coupe or Nick and Nora / express orange peel over surface / TOSS THAT ORANGE PEEL IN THE TRASH / no garnish

ABOUT
I had to make a drink to celebrate yesterday’s victory. A daiquiri is my go-to cocktail and I’m always shaking up variations. Pineapple and rum are a dream duo. Bitters and absinthe add depth. Of course, had to add orange. Cheers y’all!
