LITTLE BOOTS

  • 1 oz. / 30 ml. Diplomatico blanco rum

  • 1 oz. / 30 ml. Amaro Montenegro

  • ¾ oz. / 22.5 ml. fresh lemon juice

  • ½ oz. / 15 ml. orgeat

  • 2 dashes tiki bitters

  • Angostura bitters to float

METHOD
add all ingredients to shaker tin / add a small amount of crushed ice and shake until chilled / dirty dump into glass / top with crushed or pebble ice / float Angostura bitters / garnish with lemon twist

This drink is by Ryan Gannon at Cure (New Orleans). I’m lucky to have visited Cure a few times while in town for conferences. Now, I make their drinks at home from their cocktail book (a must have!). This one is described as a tiki drink that won’t knock you on your ass. Cheers y’all!
