Guava Levels

GUAVA LEVELS

  • 1½ oz. / 45 ml. light rum (pot still) (I used Probitas)

  • ¼ oz. / 7.5 ml. coconut rum (Planteray)

  • ¼ oz. / 7.5 ml. banana liqueur (Giffard)

  • ¼ oz. / 7.5 ml. falernum

  • 1 oz. / 30 ml. fresh lemon juice

  • 1 oz. / 30 ml. pink guava fruits & chunks

METHOD
add all ingredients to shaker tin / add ice and shake until chilled / strain into a glass over a BFC / garnish with mint bouquet after slapping it to express the oils

ABOUT
This one is inspired by one of my partner’s favorite drinks (Guava Wars at Dirty Pretty in Portland, OR). Pot still rum brings a little funk, then there’s coconut and banana liqueur for a round, creamy undertone. Falernum adds some tropical spice. Guava ties it all together with a fresh, juicy tartness.
