Riki Tiki Tavi

RIKI TIKI TAVI

  • 1 oz. / 30 ml. pineapple rum

  • 1 oz. / 30 ml. blended scotch whisky

  • ½ oz. / 15 ml. falernum

  • ¼ oz. / 7.5 ml. spiced pear liqueur

  • 2 dashes orange bitters

  • 1 dash Angostura bitters

  • cinnamon to garnish

METHOD
add all ingredients to a glass / fill ⅔ with crushed or pebble ice / stir or swizzle to mix / top with more ice / garnish with mint bouquet after slapping to express oils and grated cinnamon

ABOUT
This one was created in 2019 by Max Beckman and Rubí Villagomez. It is a tiki-meets-campfire cocktail. It’s fruity, smoky, and spiced,like a tropical drink with a wintery twist. The name was a joke at first, but it stuck because of its “mongoose bite.” Cheers y’all!
