LAPHROAIG PROJECT

  • 1 oz. / 30 ml. Green Chartreuse

  • ½ oz. / 15 ml. Islay scotch

  • ½ oz. / 15 ml. maraschino liqueur

  • ¼ oz. / 7.5 ml. Yellow Chartreuse

  • 1 oz. / 30 ml. fresh lemon juice

  • 2 dashes peach bitters

METHOD
add all ingredients to shaker tin / add ice and shake until chilled / strain into a glass over fresh ice / express lemon peel oil over the surface / garnish with lemon twist

ABOUT
This was created in 2009 by Owen Westman at Bourbon and Branch (SF, CA). Originally made with ½ oz of Yellow Chartreuse, it was later adjusted to ¼ oz—a change we appreciate. Thanks to Frederic Yarm (@fredericyarm) for recommending this after I tried Death & Co’s Pete’s Word. Cheers y’all!
