Melon-ge à Trois
MELON-GE À TROIS
1½ oz. / 45 ml. gin
½ oz. / 15 ml. white overproof rum
½ oz. / 15 ml. chareau aloe liqueur
¾ oz. / 22.5 ml. fresh lime juice
¾ oz. / 22.5 ml. honeydew melon syrup
1 dash burlesque bitters
METHOD
add all ingredients to shaker tin / add ice and shake until chilled / strain into glass over fresh ice / garnish with thyme sprig or flower
ABOUT
This is an original of mine I made with some ingredients that reminded me of summer. I used three spirits/liqueurs here, which paired with the burlesque bitters (hibiscus, sour berries, and a hint of peppery spice), gave rise to the name of the drink. Cheers y’all!
