Passionfruit Daiquiri

PASSIONFRUIT DAIQUIRI

  • 2 oz. / 60 ml. light rum

  • ½ oz. / 15 ml. fresh lime juice

  • ½ oz. / 15 ml. simple syrup

  • 1 passionfruit (and ½ to garnish)

METHOD
add all ingredients to shaker tin / shake with ice until chilled / fine strain into coupe or Nick and Nora / garnish with half passionfruit (optional)

ABOUT
This drink is an absolute banger! Despite seeming simple, it is so complex on the palate. The fresh passionfruit introduces a wonderful tang. I’ll be making these all summer so long as I have fresh passionfruit. There’s also something so beautiful about garnishing with half a passionfruit. The specs I used are via Difford’s Guide.
