PUZZLE PUNCH

  • 2 oz. / 60 ml. aged rum

  • ¼ oz. / 7.5 ml. Campari

  • ¼ oz. / 7.5 ml. demerara gum syrup

  • 3 dashes Angostura bitters

  • orange peel oil

METHOD
add all ingredients to mixing glass / stir with ice until chilled / strain into a glass over a BFC / express orange peel oil over the surface / garnish with orange twist

ABOUT
This cocktail is by Clay Kirkland (@wisecraft_mixology) and is their take on a rum old fashioned. What originally started out to them as a sweet old fashioned was tweaked by the addition of a bitter red liqueur (Campari). I’m obsessed. I have now made this several times and hope you do too.
