SAFE WORD

• 1 oz. / 30 ml. gin

• 1 oz. / 30 ml. DOM Bénédictine

• <1 oz. / 25 ml. maraschino liqueur

• 1 oz. / 30 ml. fresh lime juice

• absinthe mist

METHOD
add all ingredients to shaker tin / shake with ice until chilled / fine strain into coupe or Nick and Nora / mist absinthe over surface / no garnish (cuffs optional…)

ABOUT
This Last Word riff is by Matthias Soberon. The lower ABV DOM Bénèdictine is used instead of Chartreuse. To balance, use a navy strength (higher ABV) gin. Use a little less maraschino so it doesn't overpower the Bénédictine. As Matthias says, "The existence of DOM Bénédictine implies the existence of SUB Bénédictine.” Cheers y’all!
