Surf School Swizzle

SURF SCHOOL SWIZZLE

  • 1 oz. / 30 ml. Barbados rum

  • ½ oz. / 15 ml. banana liqueur

  • ½ oz. / 15 ml. Angostura bitters

  • ¾ oz. / 22.5 ml. fresh lemon juice

  • ½ oz. / 15 ml. orgeat

METHOD
add all ingredients to a glass / fill ⅔ with crushed or pebble ice / stir or swizzle to mix / top with more ice / garnish with mint bouquet after slapping to express oils

ABOUT
This drink was created by John Fry at Rumba (Seattle, WA) and was featured on Imbibe in 2021. There are many layers of flavor here: rich molasses rum, fruity banana, and nutty orgeat, which are balanced by the tart lemon and spiced Angostura bitters. The mint adds wonderful aromatics.
