Tropics & Tonic

TROPICS & TONIC

• 1½ oz. / 45 ml. gin

• ¾ oz. / 22.5 ml. pineapple liqueur

• 3 oz. / 60 ml. tonic water

• 1 tsp. / 5 ml. absinthe

• butterfly pea flower extract for color

METHOD
add all ingredients except tonic to a glass / fill ⅔ with cracked ice / stir to mix / add tonic / stir to combine / top with ice / garnish with pineapple fronds and few drops of butterfly pea extract

ABOUT
My partner told me to make him a pretty gin and tonic with a tropical twist. This is what I created. For this, I used a botanical gin and Giffard Caribbean Pineapple. Absinthe and gin make a lovely combo (hello Corpse Reviver No. 2). I wanted to bring some color, so I added a few drops of B’lure. Cheers y’all!
